Tsukuyomi – Lunar Lord

The night bringer, he who casts shadow so that we may sleep.
White copper mirror, held aloft to reflect the sins of those that slumber.
Yet some do not, some refute your prompt for carnal outlets.
In your gaze I undress purity.
I express love and desire in a single breath.

My naked form you hold centre stage while her hands explore my shape.
She traces curiosity with fingers as muscles respond, playful but with purpose.
An expression of intent her zonal touches, reciprocated in my sighs.
Just like clouds slip effortlessly obscuring your scrutiny, her top slides from her frame blinding me.
Her beauty eclipses you, I am aware of nothing only her skin, her eyes, her lip bitten smile.

Grass stained jeans succumb to gravity as she pushes against me, reaching up to my cheek, the softest lips on stubble skin.
Her fragrance intoxicates, swirls of femininity I inhale, worship in your sight.
A ritual of adoration, dark whisperings, gentle kisses, contact praying desire into every sinew.
She is soft heat, I am rigid opposition, hers to melt onto.
The shielded reserve she possesses ebbs as she embraces the rugged rapture of release.

Bodies, the temporal containers of essence move in rhythm, like your cycle, a dance towards the inevitable.
Images flash, the ceiling, the sheets, her hair everywhere, sultry strands slung against freckled flesh.
Before my eyes she opens up her wings, clenching me in their span.
She wraps around me, such an exquisite embrace.
The depths of her I fulfil.

Shadows dwindle, morning rushes in flaunting expectation. We huddle at the bed edge, oblivious.

  1. Hi gorgeous, look it’s me, online and getting to say something about your writing without watching you smile. Is this meant to tease me back home to see what else you have been beavering away on? Like I need an excuse 🙂

I miss you so much when I read something like this, the way you describe events is so beguiling and such an epitome of you. I could write tons on here but I’m using Declan’s laptop and don’t have long. So instead we can chat about this & everything else when I get back tomorrow.

  2. I am literally swimming in these words. I don’t know how else to describe it. You write the essence of male and female here so incredibly, it just renders me a gooey mess.

‘She is soft heat, I am rigid opposition, hers to melt onto.’
This line encompasses what I just said with utter perfection. I can feel the words. Something you are so, so good at – writing things that can be felt by all senses. I can’t express just how much I adore that line.

‘The shielded reserve she possesses ebbs as she embraces the rugged rapture of release.’
So innately female, the shield that dissolves in a moment of release. Beautiful.

It’s such a visual piece – I can see it play out in my head as I read it. Your vocabulary is enviable, and you use it exquisitely. This is another perfect example of why your writing touches so many.

I haven’t even touched on the title, or the beginning, which both intrigued me greatly.

    Wonderful. 🙂

  3. You could have started with Morpheus, but no ..you had to sock it to us with an exotic oriental version of same to prepare us, if possible, for the quintessential McGovern sensuality..oh boy! This write knocked me out! Unfair! The yin and yang of these two exploring, touching, making love …done with such delicacy, yet power, had me goggle-eyed, and breathless. “soft heat, rigid opposition” “her lip bitten smile” only a couple of examples of your imagry. Your choice of words, language, exquisite and masterful. One of your best, Paul!

The setting sunlight playing on the early rising moon. Dark orange and gold rays of sunshine warming the surface of the moon. The very earth holds its breath as the sun drops below the horizon belting out a last hurrah of sunshine, to blind. The moon is the queen of the night glowing ethereally.

–this is what I see Paul. This is my favorite part but I love it all. ❤ Thank you.
